Services Rendered | 3D Environment in UE4
The final environment project for my BFA degree at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
I wanted to create an interior environment that consist of modern Art Deco style and crime.
The bar design was based on the 2016 film, Passengers, with some some modifications to convey the story of a crime scene under investigation.
Models made in Maya and ZBrush.
Textures made using Substance Designer, Painter and Source.
Rendered in Unreal Engine 4.

The lighting is made with a combination of Static and Stationary lights.
Stationary lights were used for the table lights and wall lights for the transmission effect; they were also used for the police siren lights with a light function material to create the blinking effect.
Utilized "Use Emissive for Static Lighting" on the bar counter, cabinet and ceilings to get indirect lighting from the glowing parts of the geometries.
The light maps were built in Production quality.
